I’m Kelsey and I’m so glad you’re here. After teaching in the classroom for 9 years (and loving it,) I knew I wanted to be able to help more teachers in classrooms just like mine. That’s why in 2022 I started making resources and helpful content for teachers full time. I’m passionate about classroom management, student engagement, and culitvating a classroom community that connects. My hope is that here at MyClassbloom you’ll find inspiration, simple to implement ideas, and a helpful hand when you need it. Welcome!
I graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelors in elementary education and immediately entered my first classroom the Fall of 2013. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade and have a special spot in my heart for the “big kids!” From our daily morning meeting, to crafting engaging lessons, to running small groups and interventions..I truly love teaching. The classroom will always have my heart and I expect to be back someday in the future.
Aside from working on MyClassbloom, my family is where I put my time. I have been blessed with 4 beautiful children and the most supportive husband. As a family we love to spend time together playing games, pickleball, watching movies, and are always planning our next adventure!
